Volunteer Park Clean Up Days   (back to top)

The Southgate Parks & Recreation Department hosts volunteer park clean up days throughout the summer at both our neighborhood and community parks.  If you would like to help out or if you have a group/organization that would like to adopt a park, please contact the Recreation Department at 734-258-3035.

 

Heritage Days   (back to top)

The City of Southgate hosts the Heritage Days the last full weekend in July each year.  If you would like more information on activities, please contact the Mayor’s Office at 734-258-3022.

 

Concerts in the Park   (back to top)

The City of Southgate hosts Concerts in the Park throughout the summer at Homer Howard Park.  If you would like dates and times of concerts, please contact the Mayor’s Office at 734-258-3022.

 

GreatLakesLiveSteamers   (back to top)

The Great Lakes Live Steamers host train ride for both youth and adults.  Rides scheduled April through October, the third weekend, both Saturday and Sunday 12:00pm to 4:00pm at Kiwanis Park, weather permitting.  Donations accepted.  If you would like further information, please contact the Recreation Department at 734-258-3035.

The City of Southgate hosts the Circus Pages Circus Show in July each year at the Civic Center Arena B.  Information about dates, times, and prices distributed around town at local businesses.
