Q. Where are you located?

A. The Parks & Recreation Department is located inside of the Southgate Civic Center located at 14700 Reaume Parkway, Southgate, MI 48195. Our office is located directly inside the green doors acroos the street from the parking lot located behind the Police Department- GOOGLE MAP


Q. What are your office hours?

A. Office hours are Monday-Friday 10:00AM-6:00PM. Fall/Winter Hours are extending in the evenings and weekend. Please call to verify hours before coming in.


 Q. How can I register for a program?

A. Registrations can be done two different ways.  In person at the Southgate Parks & Recreation Deparment during normal business hours or online by visiting www.southgaterec.com.


Q. Can I register for a program over the phone?

A. At this time, we do NOT accept phone registrations.


Q. Do you take credit cards?

A. We currently accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover during normal business hours with the cardholder present and by showing proper identification.


Q. When is the last day I can register for a program?

A. Do not delay in registering for a program.  Many programs have limited availability and fill fast. Conversely, nothing ruins a good program quicker then everybody waiting until the last minute to register.  Please register early to avoid program cancellations.
